भारतात सर्वात जास्त आयुर्वेदिक महाविद्यालय महाराष्ट्रात आहेत. त्यामुळे इथे एक स्वतंत्र आयुर्वेदिक विद्यापीठ व्हावे तसेच प्रत्येक बाळासाहेब ठाकरे दवाखान्यात आयुर्वेदाचा समावेश होणे गरजेचे आहे.

आयुर्वेदिक शास्त्रातील उपायांचा आधुनिक वैद्यक उपचार पद्धतीत उपयोग करून रुग्णाची प्रतिकारशक्ती वाढवताना रोगाच्या मुळाशी जाण्याचे प्रयत्न सुरु आहेत. पथ्य-अपथ्य, दिनचर्या, ऋतुचर्या, पंचकर्म आणि अन्य उपचारपद्धतींचा संतुलित वापर केल्याने समाज स्वास्थ्य सुदृढ राहू शकते.

जगामध्ये अनेक चिकित्सा पद्धती आहेत, परंतु आधुनिक जीवन आणि वेद अर्थात ज्ञान व जीवन कशाप्रकारे जगायचे हे सांगणे म्हणजे आयुर्वेद होय. आधुनिक जीवन जगताना आपल्या मूळ सिद्धांतावरच यावेच लागेल. कोरोनासारखे अनेक शत्रू यापुढेही हल्ला करण्यास सज्ज आहेत, अशावेळी आयुर्वेद सक्षम करणे गरजेचे आहे.

We are entering the knowledge joint venture. Nothing can be done individually Ayurved discovered how animals could pick up medicines from nature to cure yourself. We are behind this synthetic things but nature has plenty to cure you. But you have to discover that and this has been discovered, systematised hundreds of books have been written, practiced for thousands of years were ancients. Alas we are now ignoring that and going behind something which is still in a very rudimentary stage. We think that what is ancient has no meaning.
